Preparing Teachers to Teach the Learners of 21^st Century

The Iqra University Teacher Outreach Programme (IUTOP) is a flagship project in which the education department offers professional development courses to a wide range of educational stakeholders, including faculty of higher education, researchers, teachers, and leaders from schools.

• Examine links between active pedagogic strategies and improved children’s learning.
• Using active pedagogic strategies to promote meaningful interaction between learners and the topic, and learners and teachers.
• Refresh and improve conceptual understanding of the subjects, e.g., mathematics and science.
• Explore and analyze ways for maximizing students’ participation through the integration of technology.
• Acquire skills to plan clear and concise lessons and assess learning outcomes.
